Group Vice-Chancellor
As the academic and administrative head of all BITS campuses, Prof. Rao is a massive name in Indian higher education. Before taking over at BITS, he served as the Director of IIT Delhi (2016–2021) and was a Chair Professor of Nanoelectronics at IIT Bombay. He holds over 50 patents and received the prestigious Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize.
